Supportive without being heavy and comfortable right out of the box!!! Also Wide Toe Box!
I'm an Electrician and on my feet all day. Up and down ladders and sometimes standing on cold concrete for hours at a clip. This boot was comfortable right out of the box. It gave me support without weighing a ton. It also has a wide toe box which is helpful to those of us with wide feet. I think that I've had them for close to eight months now and they are holding up well. I expect to get a year or more out to them which is pretty good for being on construction sites six days a week. Some other more expensive and heavier boots have fallen apart rather quickly in similar circumstances. The price on Amazon was good and they also do free return shipping if there is a problem with the size, fit or whatever. All in all very happy and expect to keep on buying them...

Fair to midland
Disappointed that these were not made in America 100%. For the first month they hurt the hell out of my toes because of the seam in the top. Another guy said the same thing in his review and he wasn’t kidding but now after a real good beating I don’t notice it anymore. They fit me well as far as size. I’ve had them for two months and they seem to be holding up quite well, I’ve burnt boots out in 30days before because I’m always working on something. Lately I’ve noticed that my left heel is starting to stand on the inside edge of the boot instead of center, which I’ve never had a problem with that with any of my footwear. They did fine on a roof, didn’t tear up shingles just by walking on them, gripped plywood just fine. Kinda disappointed being that I bought them as my introduction to Danner boots but overall just ok.

Great fit. High quality.
It only took about 4 hours to break them in. Fastest break in on any boot I've had. The toe is wider than most and tha to fits me well. I don't have wide feet, they are pretty normal for size 12 but that slight extra room in toe is nice to have. I used a beeswax conditioner on them right away and that has helped protect the leather from drying out and scratches.

Great boot. I’d buy it again.
The reviews warning about these running narrow are correct. I got the double wide and they fit me perfectly, however, I don’t have terribly wide feet so if you do these may not be the best choice. I took off one star because the ”Danner comfort system” (insole) is nice for the first 4-6 hours of standing after 6 hours of constant standing though I find that my heels start to feel sore. That amount of standing in any boot or shoe is bound to make you a little sore though- I’m going to buy some cushier insoles and see if that solves my heel problems. Other than that these have done great in muddy, wet, cold, and slippery environments as well as being comfortable standing on ladders all day.

You get what you pay for.
Imported. Tried these as a cheaper alternative to US made Danners when money was tight. Obvious deficiencies. Made it six months before the sole started to separate from the boot, squeaked when I walked, and just didn't have the longevity I would expect from Danner - but you get what you pay for. I was in cheap boot territory. Luckily, Danner supports all their products for a year. I sent in pictures to their warranty claims, and they sent me a rebate for replacement. Used that to partially pay for a new set of Danner Quarry boots, and I'm glad I did. The quarry boots are fantastic. These Crafters are OK for the money, but don't expect any more than any other offshore redwing or similar.

Not what I expect from Danner
Loyal buyer of Danner boots but these are about as an uncomfortable a shoe that I’ve ever worn. Way too narrow and there’s something in the design of the heel that doesn’t seem to want to set correctly around my foot. Thought these problems may correct themselves after break in period but no such luck. The pronghorns may have been the best boot I’ve ever worn. These? At the other end of the spectrum. Pay a little more and get the pronghorns. Your feet will thank you.

Good boots
They run a little warm and take some time to break in. They have held up well to yard and mechanic work and look pretty good doing it. They are worth the price. Danners that cost more are better boots but you know that already.

The toe box was too large, should have listend to the feedback of others. I have another pair of older Danners that feel like slippers, these were stiff and felt like a cheap pair of work boots that I bought from Walmart. I did purchase a different pair of Danners and they too feel like slippers and I love them, but this particular model did not live up to the brand's reputation.
