This book will take you on a journey beyond the routines of your Western lifestyle and challenge you to stretch out of your comfort zone to new heights of personal growth.  Then you will be able to see the world in a different perspective and realize that you are not the center of it.  A mind set of "live dead" is not morbid asceticism, but a push towards esteeming others more than yourself and sharing the Truth with others that gives us life.

I really do love this book and the writings, the only reason it's not 5 stars is that most of the activities have to do with magazines, and I don't subscribe to any and wasn't really able to do a lot of the end - of - chapter things. I think it would have been nicer if they could have been done with things most people would have such as markers or other art type supplies
