Likes- Mobile viewing and the option to change channels remotely is nice. And, if your phone has a "captioning option" then you can use your phone caption whatever you watch through it's mobile viewing BUT, the mobile video is a bit choppy even though I'm using the highest performing router on the market with a direct lan connection. Dislikes- No captioning on channels that ARE captioned. (My previous satellite receiver had built in captioning and captioned some stations via the video output jacks. This unit has no video output jacks or RF output. This is limited to HDMI only, which explains why captioning is not possible. Note, their advertised Subtext is NOT captioning. Volume control doesn't work for satellite channels AND, the audio is too low. Seems to me govt. regulations should require captioning options on all devices. Guess they don't. I'd be willing to spend the extra cost for built in captioning, but, by using the remote app and turning on my phone's built in captioning option, I can get captioning fine that way on all channels and programs, but the video streaming with the GTShare app is annoyingly choppy. Suggestion- Get the video smoother on the remote app and I'll change my rating to a 5. My DISH hopper remote streaming app for TV is PERFECTLY smooth, so the choppy video is NOT due to my router or network. Also volume is too low and volume control doesn't work. No ASTC channel support. I may not keep it.

These are excellent machines but unfortunately the instruction manual is somewhat brief. Even if you have a motorised satellite system you must choose at least one satellite in the satellite list before you are able to access other menus in the DVB-S/S2/S2X setup. Unfortunately this is not made apparent but otherwise very happy with the product.

Si es lo que esperaba solo que tengan cuidado con su correo postal local porque si te toca la aduana te impone un impuesto en Mexico, y tienes que ir a ventanilla a recogerlo para pagar el impuesto, pero fuera de eso todo está perfecto con el artículo comprado. Además de un buen trato del vendedor. Saludos.

YouTube signal is not as good as on Smart TVs Occasional black screen when playing TV...possibly corrected in vs 9. I don't know. As for the good points... Nice style case, similar to a router, but with a digital clock. The cable set-up is easy to assess. It can be connected to Sky dishes already installed in your home, so no need to purchase another dish It can also receive normal TV signals Output via HDMI Sound can be directed directly to you speaker set up via a digital output With the help of Co-Pilot ( from the Edge browser ), I was able to get all the channels I wanted and more . Picture quality is good. There are a number of picture quality settings for both HD and normal video
