Size 11 is 9/16" diameter.Measure the width of the finger you plan on using the rubber fingertip on at a point 1" from the end of that fingertip. Choose the fingertip that is slightly smaller than that measurement because the rubber fingertips will stretch some.My thumb is 1" wide and I use size 14, which is slightly smaller at 7/8" but fits well. Snug enough that I don't feel like they'll fall off, but also loose enough that they're not strangling my fingertips. I also appreciate the tiny air holes on the top side, so my fingers don't get sweaty/slippery. I'd definitely recommend them. Plus they are a great value for the money! Just a side note: I love reading all the reviews for these! It seems almost everyone has a different use for them. I am a hobby embroidery artist and sewist, and use them sort of like a thimble as well as to help me push/pull needles through thicker materials.
