Safety warning standard Review: Pleasantly Surprised How Comfortable They Are - My (14yr old) son insisted he had these for his holiday as he had tried his friend's on and they were 'soooo comfortable'. I wasn't convinced they were worth the money and argued they were just 'flip flops with a tick' but...I gave in as a treat. I was however pleasantly surprised when I tried them on and agreed they are very comfortable owing to the spongy padding under the band that goes across the top of the foot which prevents any sweaty plastic rubbing (I had jelly shoes as a child and remember that experience well). They are really nice and on this occasion my teenager was right, but I won't let him know I said that. Review: Great sliders - Bought these in a 6uk for my giant eight year old who has size 5.5 feet! Fit is great with a little room to spare and he loves them. The top is nice and cushiony which is very comfortable, but the underside which touches the top of the foot is not waterproof and soaks up water.
