I’ve installed and water just comes out in between dip tube and union nut.** A: Sorry I cannot help,as a plumber friend fitted mine **Q: What size is the Crome pipe the one that’s in is 35mm** A: Can't remember but it went straight in bucket. I needed to replace an existing bottle trap, so already had the horizontal pipe from the trap to the wall fitting. I needed to know the diameter of the supplied pipe to ensure it was the same as my one, and how it fitted to the trap (using either a flat flange or pushfit into the trap. All was good so I ordered it.My old bottle trap leaked after I installed a new waste. The seals were no longer flexible. I replaced one seal but it wasn't right, and despite copious dollops of joint sealant, I couldn't stop the drip, so I cut my losses and bought this new one (a bit trendier than my old one). It looks good, has good seals, is solid and is a good price.
