Worked great for me. I sprayed some on to my spoiler that I had plasti-dipped 5+years ago, waited 15-20 seconds, and wiped off the dip with a towel. The plasti-dip dissolved and was easily removed. No harm to the factory paint.

It does EXACTLY what I needed it to do amazingly, I didnt even use a pressure washer, I just sprayed it and wiped it off with microfiber cloths that I didnt care about. p.s. if you do it with microfiber cloths, beware that they will be ruined. Just follow the instructions and it will absolutely tear apart and melt the plasti-dip stuck onto a car. Scent is a little overbearing but nothing to do with how well the product performs.

Works decently for removing plastidip on things, albeit a little pricey. I have also discovered that it works for other things. I had installled new Pirelli’s on my and my wife’s cars. Typical for Pirellis they came with a waxy white mold release on the sidewall. I tried EVERYTHING to get it off, alcohol, mineral spirits, multi purpose cleaner, brake cleaner, pressure washer etc... nothing touched it. Finally I tried the dip dissolver. Sprayed on, let sit for 3 minutes or so and hit it with the pressure washer. Stuff came right off, no scrubbing whatsoever! Basically, it’s citrus turpenes, aka goo-gone on steroids. Just be careful what you use it on!

This stuff helped me to dig myself out of a hole. I have a black jeep and the roof gets plenty hot, especially when I lived outside Las Vegas, NV. I painted plasti-dip style stuff on top to cool it down. That worked pretty good. 3 years later, I decided that I wanted it restored to original. That stuff wasn't peeling off. I went to work with alcohol and a plastic scraper. It would've taken the better part of this century. I upped the game to thinner. It worked well but it evaporated so fast that I wasn't exactly speeding to a conclusion. I tried citrus-oil based based stuff. It helped a little. I tried wd-40; it helped but not a lot. I tried various combinations of detergent, waxes, scratch removers, bug removers, and who knows whet else, all without success. I ordered this. At first, I feared for the worst as it sure seemed like the citrus-oil stuff. I sprayed it on and waited about 5 minutes. The dip paint loosened and could be removed. It still took a couple of hours in total for the whole top of the hard top of a jeep jku but it worked and didn't cause any additional damage. So my learning points were: don't leave this kind of peel-off paint in place for years in the sun, this dissolver works better than anything else I could come up with, don't use fine grade steel wool (unless you want to finance a paint shop), and avoid black cars if you live in a hot, sunny place. I'm pretty sure that the paint thinner removed some of the clear coat too.

It does work, my bumpers were black plasti dip, it started getting nicks and peeling off in places so it was time to remove it. It takes about 3 to 4 applications. I used a 3m green scrub pad, a scrub brush, a screw on pressure nose, and for the stubborn spots a plastic puddy knife. It took about 45 min to do both bumpers. Plasti dip definitely does not peel off like the brand sas Spary it once, let it sit for about 5 min, hit it with the scrub brush. Spay again and use the scru brush again. It should be mostly liquid. Spray it down with the hose. Respray the remaining areas with the solvent. Let it sit for a couple min. Scrub with the 3m pad. Rinse with water. Whatever remain spray agsin with the solvent, let sit, use whichever tool u need to to remove the last bit. Rinse. Done. It wasnt too time consuming or difficult. I posted a pic of the remover bottle and how much I had left after 2 bumpers. Worth the $$

This stuff works great. I plastidipped my 95 Silverado in black about 3.5 years ago. Looked great, got lots of compliments, and I’ve even been pulled over by a cop to ask me about it. Recently it started showing more wear as I have it outdoors 24/7. So I decided to strip it down and chose Monstaliner as a paint solution. Long story short the plastidip was a beast to get off. I applied it plenty thick, but in areas like the hood above the engine block the dip did not want to release. Apparently the heat practically baked it on to my old paint. I tried Goof Off, Goo Gone, and a variety of other chemicals. The best during my first trials was actually WD-40, but there is a time window for it to work. After 30 minutes it would come off with a pressure washer for about 15-30 minutes longer. Then it would evaporate and was still hard to remove. This dip remover however, I achieved the results I needed following the direction within 3-6 minutes. Some stubborn areas, but this also helped remove some old 3M adhesive. Mark my words, I will never dip again, but this stuff may be my new goo gone for life. Thanks you guys!

I sprayed all the chrome and rims on my car with Plasti Dip 4 years ago, but now that I’m selling the car, I needed to remove all of it to revert the vehicle back to it’s stock exterior. At first, I was going to try to remove all of the Plasti Dip by hand, but I quickly learned that that was going to be extremely taxing and time consuming. I originally put 5 coats of Plasti Dip on each part of the vehicle that I sprayed, so I needed a product that was going to make removing the dip quick and easy. It took me several hours to finish, but that’s because I had 5 layers to remove and I was taking my time. I wanted to remove all of the Pasti Dip in 1 setting since I planned to sell the vehicle soon and didn’t wait to get drenched by the back-spray from the pressure washer more than once. Since time was of the essence, I decided to purchase some Dip Dissolver to make this project go as smooth as possible. Removing Plasti Dip is as simple as it sounds… Just spray and wait 2 to 3 minutes, then spray again and wait another 2 to 3 minutes. After that, you can pressure wash the area and it comes right off. I read online about a few other ways to remove Plasti Dip, but I was skeptical of those methods. I know Dip Dissolver works and I would highly recommend going this route and using this product if you need to remove Plasti Dip from your car because it the easiest, safest, and most efficient method.

Very bad product, it doesn’t do anything think, a wast of money and zero rating

If you make any Plasti-Dip mistakes or oversprays or want to undo what you did, this stuff is amazing. It's expensive, but it's worth it. It removes any need to peel off every little bit of extra Plasti-Dip and quickly removes any overspray quickly and easily. A huge time saver. If you're going to Plasti-Dip anything, this is essential.

Great for removing plasti dip older than 5 years and thin sprayed area. smells orange, soak the dip for about 30 minutes and use power washer to removed the dip faster.

This is probably overpriced goo gone, smells exactly like it. I followed the instructions and while it did make it a little softer, the dip wouldnt come off. you have to really scrape it off. I left it on as per the instructions said, then i tried again for an hour, same problem. Useless, might as well just try and peel it off normally
