Ideas abound, every style. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An inspiring and un-fussy approach! *by D***K on March 31, 2015* I have always been fascinated by faux finishes and the transformative power of paint. Annie's book and the "Chalk Paint Revolution" have really taken the roof off what it means to create new works of art by using simple finishes and fairly traditional materials. Some have been critical of this book's lack of detail at times. To me, it's a deliberate reminder that the art is within me! How do you explain the feel of the wax, or the nuance of how your brush lays paint on a rough surface? I don't think one can, and I'm kind of glad she didn't try too hard to do so! The photos are very pretty and her sense of color is divine.
