Do NOT but for original maxi climber! **Q: Do you have to unscrew the bars each time you want to switch from normal to cross crawl or do the handles rotate?** A: If I understand your question right, I would try unscrewing the large knobs holding the handles in place on the bar and rotate the handles to your desired use. You may have to switch the handles to the opposite bars to get the curves in the right place so they move passed each other in use. Hope this helps. Have a great workout. **Q: Will this work with other climbers?** A: This cross crawl will work ONLY with physical modification (in my case) to original Maxi Climber, you will need a drill and a hack saw, i would not recommend to someone whom is not comfortable working with tools. **Q: I don’t get this..what does it add to workout?** A: The default handlebars only allow the same side to move up/down. These Cross Crawl Handlebars allow for the left and right side to connect in the same direction forcing different coordination. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A different kind of climb *by G***G on February 6, 2022* I really prefer the cross-crawl motion. I can feel it working more of my body. It set me back a small number of total counts per workout at first, so I know it adds a bit of difficulty and works more muscles (that's a good thing). I've been using these bars only about a week and I'm already over my counts per workout with the 'standard' bars.My wife found these difficult to work with at first. The motion seemed counter intuitive to her. But she got over that and has now doubled her total count per workout in the last week. Over-all she is as sold on these bars as I am.Overall I'm very happy, I won't be going back to the 'standard' bars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great workout *by T***M on August 9, 2021* I have the first model they made I had to do a little mod but worked out very well.
