There seems to be a little discrepancy between models regarding features, but this unit does everything it advertises except touch screen. That's an important feature but is relatively easily overcome with the very functional "air" mouse. Installation was relatively simple except for knowing what to do with the door + and door - wires and the instructions didn't help. I wired mine so that the door + is connected to the wire that had immediate 12v as soon as you open the door and the door - to the wire that had 12v as soon as you turn your ignition off, doors closed. This seems to work well. Since I was replacing a factory unit in my 2017 Silverado High Country, I already had a large hole cut out of the headliner, which I needed to cover. Even though the factory unit only had a 9" display, I had to go to a 17" unit, which had a large enough footprint to cover the factory hole. Smaller units, like the 15" monitor, did not cover the hole. I was also concerned about the unit draining my battery since I didn't have acc power to the factory unit. But, the XTRONS unit completely shuts down when the monitor is closed and it draws no power. The unit will automatically turn on if you open the screen, even with the ignition off, but it will automatically shutdown if the ignition isn't turned on after about 5 minutes or so. So, you don't have to worry about draining the battery. The XTRONS is very easy to use. It's just like any other Android device and easily connects wirelessly or wired to my 16" Android head unit that I used to replace my factory radio. The XTRONS is Great because you can use it autonomously or in sync with the main head unit. You can also play the sound through the included unit speakers or wirelessly through the main Android head unit. You will likely need to drill new holes to mount the bracket, but that's pretty simple if you make a template. The wires are definitely long enough to test the unit before final installation. You should definitely do that to make sure the unit works and that it fits properly on your headliner. Rather than using electrical twist nuts, solder, or cramps, I used WAGO connects which made the electrical part of the installation a breeze. Was a simple install (I consider my tech ability a 4/5) and the final result was exactly what I wanted and expected after a thorough search. I've used it for YouTube soo far. Will be using a USB dongle with video. Connects to my cars factory Bluetooth just fine. I use my WiFi Hotspot on my phone, no issue and also have had it connected to my home wifi.
