## Description

The Starrett 135A is another extremely useful Starrett level that fits handily in the pocket with no sharp edges. 63mm (2-1/2") length with Main Vial. Machinist levels provide greater accuracy than common construction levels. These levels must be used when the variability of the reference plane is within the range of the level's sensitivity. Otherwise, measurements will continually be "chased," making these precision levels more difficult to use. Vials are filled with a high grade mineral oil to resist thermal expansion and contraction and excessive bubbles. Mitigate multiple bubbles during handling, and remain safe in the event that a level is damaged. A notch is offered in it's precision ground base so that the level may be placed on a minimum arc or diameter.

Review: Robust and accurate - Bought this little level for leveling scopes. Got this in conjunction with a Stabila. The stability gets you in the neighborhood. What I like about this one is the accuracy. It is technically more accurate than the Stabila. The bubble is the exact size as the two level lines so you could definitely tell if you're off. The Stabila has their lines a little bit larger than what the bubble is so you're still in the level area as it indicates, but with this one if you're even off a little bit it will show. Would buy again if needed

A: no, it's not magnetic

**Q: In what country is this made?**
A: Made in USA! If you go to the Starrett website and search the item's number, in this case 135A, the description that comes up will show a US flag if made in the USA. If not, a stylized image of the globe (the earth) will show for "Global Series."

**Q: which would be a better buy the 135a at 2.5" or 135b at 3.5" ?**
A: I have only a 2.5" Starrett level, it is very good for me.  I cannot give an opinion for the 3.5" level. Richard

**Q: What is the packaging like? Mine came loose in a small box. Nothing else inside, is this normal?**
A: Yes, mine also come loose in the Starrett box. They work fine, we use them in our travel kits, never had any problems with them.

Bought this little level for leveling scopes. Got this in conjunction with a Stabila. The stability gets you in the neighborhood. What I like about this one is the accuracy. It is technically more accurate than the Stabila. The bubble is the exact size as the two level lines so you could definitely tell if you're off. The Stabila has their lines a little bit larger than what the bubble is so you're still in the level area as it indicates, but with this one if you're even off a little bit it will show. Would buy again if needed
