I can imagine it having bad breath, and not being easy prey with those long claws and erect, bulky posture. I bought this one for my own adult collection, however it looks very sturdy, and has no moving parts, nor anything that could break off, and too big to really choke on, so it should stand up well to even vigorous play with young children. It would hurt if thrown or stepped on however. There are so many wonderfully made, ACCURATE and sturdy animal figures for children today which could literally last a lifetime if kept away from long term sun exposure, or flames and the like. This is one of them.
