Must have. - I purchased this cover for my last two iPhones. It was recommended to me by my sister because she loves it too. It's pretty easy to install, just make sure your fingers and screen are clean. If it's on correctly, it has no glare and barely any noticeable fingerprint residue. It's matte, which I like. A few days ago I cracked the screen and thought that the fall damaged my phone. To my surprise, my phone screen wasn't damaged at all and I promptly ordered a replacement. It WORKED! My phone was saved. Review: Great for reading without glare - The screen protector was a little tricky to get lined up because you must do it manually. The kit came with everything you need to clean your phone screen and removed any lingering dust particles. I would suggest turning your phone off and after you clean it and dry it off, tilt it so that light reflects off the screen and makes it easier to see any dust particles then use the supplied adhesive tape to stick to the screen and remove them. For aligning the screen get it as close as possible to the screen and then let one end stick to the screen and work the air out as it starts laying down on the screen. I like that the edges are beveled as this helps the edges not to catch on anything and peel up when you put the phone in your pocket. The beveled edges will also hold up better in the event the phone drops and hits the edge of the protector. The main reason I wanted a matte screen protector was to eliminate the glare and this screen protector does just that which makes reading as though you’re reading a paper. There’s absolutely no glare. Someone said the screen looked cloudy with the protector but that’s not my experience as everything was nice and clear. I can’t speak of durability but it’s been a week and it’s holding up well so far. I was a little skeptical over the quality at this price but the price point is affordable and if it continues to hold up it will become my choice for a screen protector. Great product! Update: 1/18/25 This screen protector is still going strong. It hasn’t started peeling up at the edges, or gotten scratched up from regular use. I purchased this back in August 2024. This is the longest I’ve had a screen protector that is still in perfect shape. Again, I can recommend enough this product! ## Features - 【HD Clear】Screen Protector Compatible with iPhone 12 Pro/ iPhone 12 - 2020 6.1 inch smartphone. So unless your skin is extremely oily and it gets along the edges that’s the only reason it shouldn’t stick or if the phone wasn’t clean properly. You could always try superglue or duct tape. **Q: I wish to find a matte screen protector but with also a privacy ability..does it even exist for iPhone 12 Pro?** A: I like the matte finish but after two of these screen pricey protectors I’ll never buy another. The edges of the thick protector chip easily and it’s sharp. I only ever put it in a side pocket on my purse, never dropped it. The second one I just got already had three edge chips after just one month, and it’s annoying. At $10 each that’s ridiculous. I’m going back to a basic matte finish protector where I can get 3-6 for $6 and only ever use 1-2 in a year. Don’t waste your money. **Q: Can I put the screen protector over my current screen protector to get double protection? Because I noticed the mothca screen doesn't cover the camera** A: We don't recommend you do that. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent protection. I’ve only had it on for a day and a half, but I’m enjoying it so far. A lot of care went into the packaging and what comes with the protector. It has two alcohol wipes, a dry screen cleaning cloth, and super nifty dust remove sticker and alignment stickers (they stick to the top face of the screen protector so you don’t have to precariously try to hold it while positioning it on your phone). By far the easiest, cleanest, and least stressful experience I’ve ever had installing a screen protector. One it’s aligned and you run your finger down the center, it super-satisfyingly adheres the rest of the way on its own. I love the anti-glare feature, and the texture feels nice while scrolling and typing. The matte finish does change how your screen looks versus other protectors (or the bare screen) - akin to the slight “fuzziness” you get using some computer monitors. Overall not a big deal at all, and I probably won’t even notice after using it for awhile… I have to apply lotion to my hands frequently throughout the day, so I do still get some fingerprints especially when scrolling or pinching, but they are less noticeable and WAY easier to wipe off compared to the bare screen. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 Pro/12 Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint Tempered Glass Film Case Friendly Easy to Install Bubble Free for iPhone 12/12 Pro 6.1-inch (2020)-Smooth as Silk - Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 14 / iPhone 13 / iPhone 13 Pro [6.1 Inch] Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint Tempered Glass, Smooth as Silk - Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector for iPhone XR/iPhone 11 [6.1-inch] Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint, 9H Hardness Tempered Glass Film, Case Friendly Easy Installation Bubble Free - Smooth as Silk --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/241538284-matte-glass-screen-protector-for-iphone-12-pro-12-anti](https://www.desertcart.in/products/241538284-matte-glass-screen-protector-for-iphone-12-pro-12-anti) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
