We’ve found these locks to be a great option for kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as furniture. After installing the first couple it was easy and quick to install the others. If you pay attention as you do it they install really well and have zero issues. The three things to make sure you do correctly are place the lock far enough away from any magnetic closures in your drawer or cabinet so that won’t affect it, make sure it’s aligned properly with the height and depth, and prep the surface beforehand (and let it dry completely). We love that our baby can’t pinch his fingers in any doors or drawers’ gaps as he attempts to get them open (and he tries very hard!), and also that the locks can be deactivated when the baby isn’t around. That’s been a really great feature for extended family as well. Grandparents can install them but only activate them when we come to visit, so they don’t have to deal with childproofed kitchen cabinets all the time.The locks removed well without any damage to the cabinets in our rental home when we moved recently, but we didn’t have any issues with them coming off when our baby pulled on the cabinets, even though he’s very strong for his age and size.The company was also extremely quick and helpful when I reached out with an inquiry about replacement adhesive strips for the backs. I was very impressed, especially after some less than helpful interactions with other companies whose products had issues recently. I will continue to recommend these locks from this brand to all my friends and relatives with little ones.

I really like how easy they were to install . But most of all they work terrific and the magnet is easy to keep hidden from my granddaughter. Yay !

I have had these installed for a few months, and they are good, but not flawless.Installation is, for the most part, straightforward. The included bracket makes sure that the two pieces are aligned and that the "receiving" piece is at the right depth.Unfortunately, this doesn't work everywhere. With two doors, it is usually easy, but if there is a drawer above the doors and no frame in between, you will not be able to install this in the right place. It will have to go on the bottom of the door, which removed some space in your cabinet and makes opening the door more difficult (with the lock near the knob, you can usually open the door with one hand while holding the "key", but this different position needs a two-handed approach).Drawers are difficult, unless you can remove a drawer above to install it. I managed two, but I still haven't found a way to install it for the top drawers. These two are made so that the latch is on the side of the drawer. One of those latches moves incredibly slow with the magnet; I am not sure why. It was not always like this.When installed, they work very well. I gave 24 hours to cure as advised, but I didn't clean as well as they suggested. Even so, the latches have never come off, even with my son's pulling, so they have done their job when I have been able to install them, and I liked not drilling anything.

The kit is simple and easy to install. The 3M double sided adhesive tape works perfectly and is very durable so make sure you properly apply it on the area you want. If you are looking for a discreet solution for baby proofing this is the perfect product.

These are perfect for keeping little ones out of spaces that they should not be. Easy to use and sturdy. You will need to make sure that they fit the doors. Once you place them on the doors are very hard to replace if needed.

I really liked the idea of these magnetic cabinet locks for baby proofing, but the quality wasn’t as good as I expected. Installation was fairly easy, but some of the locks didn’t line up well or didn’t latch consistently. A couple of them also felt a bit flimsy compared to what I was hoping for.The magnetic key worked sometimes, but other times it took a few tries to get the cabinet to open, which became frustrating. I also noticed that the adhesive on a few of the locks started to loosen after a short time.They might work okay for lighter use, but overall I expected better durability and reliability, especially for something meant to keep cabinets securely closed around kids.

Great product to keep the little ones out of the cabinets. This will not work on cabinets with 2 swinging doors. You need an inside wall to put the locking mechanism on. Comes with 2 magnets, but if ever in a pinch, can use a strong refrigerator magnet.

Concept is great and in most instances they installed easily - a couple of things to point out however:1) - the plastic insert tool used to assist in mounting the door/face-side piece (DSP) does not hold the DSP tightly enough, so often the piece falls out before you can get the DSP set to the door/face...2) - my drawers are one-piece (i.e., two sides, and a front and back) with a separate face that is mounted to the front of the drawer...because they were custom built, the height of the face and therefore the drawer opening in relation to the front piece of the drawer is inconsistent, with some of the drawers sitting well below the opening - this requires mounting the DSP well above the front piece of the drawer, allowing less than full adhesion of the two-sided tape...a fix would be to glue in a small block to the top of the drawer front piece so the tape is fully adhered - I'll wait and test the current strength of the mounting before I go to that trouble...3) - my door/face pull hardware is mounted in differing places so that I had to mount the DSP's in sort of random places to avoid the screw heads holding the hardware on to the door/face...since one of the attributes of the product is that it is invisible from the front, the downside for me is that I will not be able to remember exactly where the DSP is located when I go to unlock the door with the magnet! Maybe I can figure out how to unobtrusively mark the location...It is a really great product that needs a bit of care when installing...be interesting to see if the adhesive lasts...the strength of the magnets is terrific - some of my doors/faces are probably around 1.5" total depth and the magnets still work well...the mounting tool supplied by Ella (they say they are the only ones providing it), though it could hold things better, is very useful if used gently...

Los compre para evitar que mi bebé abra cajones o puertas de las alacenas que pudieran tener sustancias u objetos peligrosos para un pequeño, aun que la instalación es un poco engorrosa y los esquemas no son tan intuitivos han sido de mucha utilidad para evitar accidentes en casa, los materiales son bastante resistentes aún que una de las llaves magnéticas se rompió al caer de una distancia relativamente baja, pero por fortuna trae 2 llaves... Lo recomiendo como básicos de seguridad para los niños

Muy recomendable, fácil de instalar, mi hija de 1 año y 6 meses ya no se mete tanto a la cocina, debido a que le gustaba abrir cajones y sacar las cosas de ahí.Me gusta que también puedes bloquear el seguro, para que no tengas que estar usando siempre el imán cuando tú hijo/a no ande cerca de ahí.

Bon pour empêcher les enfants de prendre des produits ménagers, pour nous c'est notre gros matou Zeus qui aime aller grignoter les brosses sous l'évier de cuisine. Il arrivait à ouvrir les portes. Il n'y arrive plus et nous boude, jusqu'au lunch😉. On installe avec les collants et le gabarit, une fois collé en place, on peut visser le tout ,, les trous sont pré percés et les collants tiennent le crochet assez fortement que nous n'avons pas vissé nos crochets installés. Tout est magnétique et la clé peut se camoufler comme si c'était une poignée d'armoire ou tirour ou encore une decoration. Nous vous recommandons.

Si lo logras instalar bien funciona súper bien. La cosa es hacerlo con paciencia y además reforzar con otro pegamento. El que te incluye puede despegarse si jalas con fuerza las puertas o si esta en una zona con calor. Las puertas alado de mi estufa con el calor hacían que se despegara.
