After heavy rains and having our building's waterworks back up, I got hit with an infestation of standard houseflies in my bathroom and kitchen. Tried other options but they were more geared towards gnats and fruit flies, not houseflies. Got these and saw immediate results. I found that the best thing to do was to use the hook on top and use kitchen string or something to make a loop for it to hang from -- in my case that's the cabinets over the sink and my shower bar. Easy to use the hook to take off temporarily if you need to get in to where it's hung up. Be sure to put something sweet in the little cup per instructions; I had leftover orange soda and it worked like an absolute charm.

I really wanted to give this thing a bad review as I accidently touched it upon removing it from the box and it was such a nasty sticky glue substance that stuck to my hand and had long strands from the product. HOWEVER, just MINUTES from putting it up near a light (as the flies are attracted to light) in the garbage/furnace room, it was just covered with flies. IT WORKS so well! That said, I've not had any success with the one in the main house. Likely it's not near enough to an area that will draw their attention as it was in the furnace room. No smell to atract. Very easy to use, as long as you don't touch the yellow portion. Just hang it.

Bad fly problem Set the tube near kitchen window. Was not sure if it would work, until I woke the next morning to see the tube covered with flies.

I just put these out, so I don't know how well they will work. They are very sticky. The glue was on the inside of the box and got on my hands when I took them out. Was able to get the glue off with baby oil.

These come in the box just as you see them there’s no rapper any containers on them. There’s a little tab at the top so you can just put a thumbtack on the wall wherever you want them but they have accumulated a lot of little gnats and fruit flies in a very short time I’ll include pictures. I’m very happy with these. I’m gonna order another box in case I need them.

I was very pleased with the purchase. Was a breeze to tape my sunroof, due to a minor leak. Would recommend. Arrived on-time.

aber alles andere hat leider versagt. Der Fruchtfliegenschwemme war nicht mehr beizukommen. Erster Fänger schon nach 24 so voll das er ausgewechselt werden musste. Nur ein Tipp an den Hersteller: Bitte schreibt doch mal etwas dazu wie man dieses Zeug aus den Haaren heraus bekommt :-)

Work well, just be very careful and they warn you about it, to handle them from the very bottom or the top, where the tray type tops are. Also be careful if left in sunny windows because the heat makes the sticky finish even stickier. Because of the narrow build they can be hidden behind things easier but still effective and kept out of sight. As they are more effective, the less they are wanted to be seen. I actually wish I had ordered the larger size instead of just the two. Next Summer I plan on ordering the larger pack and spreading the wealth out.

These worked much better than fly spray and caught a good many house flies and fruit flies. I hate having flues in the house. Good size, ease of use, better than chemicals in the air, no odour I could smell.

Didn’t catch a single fly yet, they keep buzzing around our kitchen and are not at all attracted to it. Would not recommend.
