For my purposes I sanded it to make it frosted so the small defects were no big deal. Again, a good product and arrived in time specified by the seller.

**Q: Are these hollow on the inside?  I need hollow spheres.**
A: The ones I received were solid half spheres, not hollow

A: No, they are solid acrylic.

**Q: Are these 1/2 spheres hollow?**
A: No sorry they are not but we can make them if you would be interested.

**Q: Are these flat on one side?**
A: The ones I have are a solid, plexiglass half-sphere (not hollow). The smaller sizes (an inch and below) look like they were poured into a mold, so they're back sides are not perfectly flat. The larger ones are much flatter and may have been machined.
