Review: Professional quality recovery shackles - These are properly RATED shackles intended for professional use in vehicle recovery situations. This is the sort of thing that travellers use in the Australian Outback. The only thing that is important to remember is that they should not be tightened up solidly when in use; put the bar into the shackle and turn it until the bar is fully home, then back it out half a turn to avoid it seizing up. Very good piece of equipment. Check YouTube for how they are best used.

**Q: will these work on an angled oval hitch for Ford F150 to connect travel trailer chains to?**
A: Yeah, they'll work but you don't really need D rings to be so big. You can install smaller ones for the safety chains

**Q: It says it will fit a 2023 Rogue!  Where?**
A: Okay first I believe you need to buy a shackle mount kit. Basically a few bolts and a mounting plate of sorts to attach to the front or back of the frame of your Nissan Rogue. So unless it has on tucked under there already you'll have to get a kit and then you can put a shackle on. Do your research before you buy or waste your time. Also don't buy Chinese, buy U.S. made products. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does it fit 2017 ram 1500 bighorn**
A: It should if if it’s 3/4 shank I bought 2 more

**Q: I have a 23 Tacoma TRD Off-road will I need a mount to add these? I’ve seen many sites suggesting mounts.**
A: Yes if you don’t have d ring mounts in your bumper

These are properly RATED shackles intended for professional use in vehicle recovery situations. This is the sort of thing that travellers use in the Australian Outback.
