Works with Beats Studio 3
I bought this for my Beats Studio 3. It works like a charm!!! The only nit picky thing that you have to worry about is the order in which you plug the cords in. First plug the microphone into the headset, then plug it in to the controller. It didn't work when I did it the other way around. Just a tip.

Poor longevity. Not built to last.
I bought 2 because they were cheap. But after just under 2 WEEKS. The microphone functionality stopped working. I am now down to the last cable. Yes I’ve tested to see if it’s the cable. Tried a separate aux+mic cable (separate to this brand) and it worked

Perfect
Surprisingly good. The cable is braided and sturdy and everything feels of good quality. My friends told me that they could hear me clearly. So, if you are just looking for a microphone to attach to your headphones for communicating, this is a good choice on a budget.

Broke after 2 months…
The item worked great then all of a sudden one day in the middle of a warzone match it just stopped working. Tried to clean the connections and nope just dead out of no where. Luckily I had a spare. Second time this has happened tho…

Awful Product
First cable came in DOA where audio was coming out only one one side. I went through the RMA process and they sent another one. Was pretty annoyed but it happens. It worked fine, for about 2 days, where then the microphone stopped working as well as audio on one side. I barely used it and didn't even fiddle with any of the sliders. Very cheap product.

Failed after 2 months
I bought this to use with my VR headset and a pair of "studio" headphones. Worked great at first. I have the cabled wrapped since I only need maybe 1' of space. It developed a short right at the Y section that leads into the mic about 2 months. I may try to salvage the parts, but I will not buy this again. There is no excuse for this type of failure.

Doesn't last long
The connections are very poor. They don't last longer than a few months and then just stop or the audio works but the voice function stops.

Mic didn't work out of the box
Unlike some of the other reviewers who mentioned failure after a few months or bad microphone quality, mine didn't work right out of the box.

DO NOT BUY
Product does not last more than a few weeks. RMA’d the item two times and still failed again on the third time. AVOID!!
