Uncle John's Perpetually Pleasing Bathroom Reader (Uncle John's Bathroom Reader Annual)

I love reading these to my wife til she falls asleep. It is Super entertaining and light, perfect for unwinding.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He has been a fan of Uncle John’s Bathroom Readers since they were first published. And this edition meets my husband’s approval

Another in the long running series from Uncle John's Bathroom Reader, the Perpetually Pleasing edition lives up to it's name. I found it packed with all sorts of amusing trivia, funny stories, and just a dash of actual educational material. I pick up the new volume each year when they come out, and I wasn't disappointed by this year's offering. It's worth noting that there was some slightly darker content (and slightly more "dirty" comments) than previous volumes, but I'd still say it's a fair read for all but the youngest members of the family.

UNCLE JOHN TOP

This must be pretty good because my son hasn't put it down since Christmas. He has enjoyed these books for years, and now as a 30 yr old he continues to do so. There are lots of little tidbits of info in all Uncle Johns books that he somehow remembers and occasionally shares. I wasn't convinced at first how true they were, but any I have checked into are surely correct. These books are full of information, some of which you'd be surprised to know.

I have all The Readers starting with the first given to me as a gift. Always informative and an easy read. The book came in two days and was appreciated.Fortunatly I was home when nit arrived by FED EX and was happy to see the book was in good condition because the packing was below par. No padding or waterproof sleeve and a loose unsealed end on the sloppy fitting cardboard container ( if you can call it that). allowed the book to rattle around inside. Once again, I'm glad the book arrived in good condition but the senders packing certainly needs to be improved.

Great addition to the UJ family. Really, you cannot go wrong with any of them!!! If you like curious facts, awesome trivia and entertainment, this is for you.

These books make great gifts!!

Excellent book as per normal for this series. The books by this company are almost the only non-fiction I read. I find this series an easy enjoyable way to waste time at a customer while waiting to be loaded/unloaded (I am a truck driver) and also at the Canada/USA border.

A book which is full of things you do not need to know but find you must read about them away. As its name suggests it stays in the library sorry bathroom. Now I spend nearly as much time in there as the female members of the family A fun book you can dip into for small interesting titbits of usless information; until you go to a silly quiz!

If a birthday or christmas was to pass and my husband did not receive a Bathroom Reader for the throne room, it just wouldn't be the same. I love learning useful facts being read out loud. Thank you bathroom reader for making me think how, what and who on earth did that. What where they thinking

Uncle John's books never cease to surprise. There really is something new on every single page and although it's always USA-centric there's plenty of material for the rest of the world to wallow in. Trivia and its engaging best!
