The songs are so well written and really get inside your head. I don't know how many times I've sang "If you love me the morning after" - since buying this album. So yeah, if you are into goth, or just good music, definitely give it a try. Oh and forgive the guys for some of the lyrics, they are from Helsinki after all. This CD has a slower pace than their other releases, but it doesn't disappoint in the slightest. Despite the slow pace of each song, you still feel yourself rocking out. As a fan of the band, I have a playlist of my favorite songs. Of the ten tracks on this CD, six of them made it onto my permanent 69 Eyes playlist. Some favorite tracks I suggest: 1. Borderline ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than the last one. *by C***N on June 23, 2013* As a fan of their early heavy sleaze sound, I haven't thought much of their goth records, especially as the heavy guitars vanished completely. I did purchase Angels as it had some rocking songs and I thought was the start of their return to proper rock but the last album back in blood was all over the place and a let down on the whole. I was hoping to hear an increasingly heavy sound on the next one but the band said they were going more goth again which I was disappointed with but thankfully this album is actually pretty good. Much better songs than the last, and there are some moments of heavy guitar if not quite enough. Sadly the two chosen singles were probably two of the weakest songs on the album, but the first few such as 1000 years of blood are really good.
