The battery would never charge completely, Wi-Fi disconnected frequently, and it would sometimes shut itself off for no apparently reason. I determined that the power adapter barrel connector was too loose within the power jack on the notebook, and was therefore not consistently transferring enough power. Anybody that has ever worked on a laptop can replace the power jack assembly in just a few minutes with this one, which fits perfect.
