Nice and big. They work fine for small knives and are outstanding for your largest knives. The wooden boxes they come in are an added bonus in caring for the stones.

You will not regret it!
Works as advertised, the first two is for your rough hone, I use the black surgical stone for the the really fine edge and maintaining. I use a super steel Benchmade for my EDC and it takes awhile to get a good edge because the steel is so hard, but these stones work awesome. The wood boxes are attractive and practical.

Fantastic quality sharpening stones. Need lapping.
Very nice sharpening stones. All three were slightly crowned. A quick trip to the lapping plate and they were all nice and flat.

Good TRUE Arkansas stones. The only problem I have with them is people wanting to borrow them after I sharpen their knife.
