Resolve® Urine Destroyer Steam Carpet Cleaner Solution, 60 fl oz

Wow! I waited around a couple of months to use this product after it arrived. Then my dog had a mess of a diarrhea accident on our bathroom carpet. The carpet is 31 years old and has seen lots of traffic. I thought I had been keeping it reasonably clean using the Rug Doctor solution with my red Rug Doctor machine, but I didn’t feel good about it, so I bought this Resolve cleaner for it based on the rave reviews and the statement that it smells like lemon, which it does! It has a great smell. I was walloped when I started going over the stains and so much OLD dirt started coming up off the carpet. The Resolve cleaner foams more in the machine’s return and this seems to cause it to pick up more dirt out of the carpet. The difference was so pronounced that I actually had the “resolve” mid-clean to take a picture for my Amazon review! I also stuck a photo sticker of the product in the photo to be cute and to cover up two bottles of other pet cleaners we had sitting on the tub — lol. What can I say? We are a three dog household and have gotten to know our cleaning products! I highly recommend Resolve cleaner for your Rug Doctor. For everyday accidents Rocco & Roxy enzymatic spray is the best; but do yourself a favor and buy a gallon bottle of it and put it in a garden sprayer ($18) so you can more fully saturate the urine accident. Enzymatic cleaners work best when they can break down the bacteria of the urine and they do that best in a “wet” environment so it helps to heavily saturate the stain. If you buy this product, I hope you enjoy it as I did. It really will restore your faith in your Rug Doctor. It works strikingly well! Every blessing!

I completely remodled my house when I bought it 4 years ago (including flooring). Now, my fur baby is a senior and has been having periodic accidents on the hard flooring and an area rug in the living room. Each time it happens, I become quite upset! But! I have also have had my fur child for 18 years and he's like my second child, so putting him to sleep for these every now and again inconveniences is not an option. I have a Hoover carpet cleaner and had been using the Hoover pet liquid in it, which is great too, but I wanted something targeted specifically for cleaning pet urine smells. I ordered this last night, and got home from work at 5:30. And let me tell ya, I walked in and almost started to cry because fur child had an accident that and my house smelled horrible! But fear not! Amazon was only 10 stops away. Within about 30 minutes, my package with this and the Resolve Urine Destroyer spray was delivered. I immediatly got to cleaning the floors (sprayed the carpet with the urine destroyer and let it sit while I filled up the jug for the carpet cleaner with this and some HOT water... And let me tell ya! I smell NOTHING but a slight hint of citrus now and I only went over it once (while I was vacuuming it did smell somewhat citrusy, but that toned down quick as it dries). I'm so happy and thankful! This was definitely worth every penny!

My dogs accidentally were locked in the house with doggy door closed, and well yea you can imagine what happened. I walked in after day 2 and the smell about knocked me over. I tried using vinegar in the carpet cleaner but the next day it was worse than ever. I looked this up on Amazon and it had good ratings so I ordered it and it arrived the next day. Since the odor was so bad and one dog is senior male I doubled the concentration and went over the carpeted area several times.I can honestly say the odor seems to be gone and the cleaner leaves a fresh lemony scent. It was kind of strong at first so I put a fan on the carpet hoping to dry is faster. It’s been a couple of weeks now and so far I don’t detect that nasty smell when I walk in the door so I think it did it’s job and I am super grateful.

It does help eliminate odor

Works very well removing cat urine smell from carpeting. Works well removing new stains. Tried more expensive products but this one is best for getting the smell out of carpet and padding. I use it in my Bissell shampooer. Our elderly cat is leaking and we can’t get diapers on her so I’ve been using this weekly. I also use a urine flashlight that Amazon sells to find new areas where she’s peed and spot treat them with this product. 5 stars!

Good product will buy again. I used it quite often.

Only 3 due to shipping, but realy more of a 4 or 5 star product. I have no issues with the product, as we have feral kitties we are training and this product works great on clean up. However, the shipping the bottle must have been pushed on and the seal broke and leaked over my new cell phone case and other items. I won't return this as I needed it. With at least a third of the bottle gone, a refund would be nice, but my only option is a return. In the past I have had liquid items added covered with a plastic bag, but this and another item did not have that. Product is great though.

Does what it says and really eliminates any pet smell. Cleans area well.

Buying this product in a large quantity allows me not only to save money but also to recycle my smaller containers.

Great product for dog odour removal and does remove pee stains when properly applied.

It’s expensive when there are other products on the market that do a better job. I felt that the perfume in this product masked the smell of urine rather than actually deal with it. I bought ezclean instead. It’s a Canadian product, has a better quantity for price, can be bought in bulk, and actually works. I have some of this left, I would use it as a regular carpet cleaner, but not for pets or urine specifically.
