Review: Easy to install and great quality - This worked great for us. We have a double gate but because of the lay of our land the gates had to swing the same direction and I don't mind having them both locked to prevent movement on very windy days. We had one side pinned down but the one that we use regularly kept getting off track from the bad winds that we get so I love the option of having it locked down so that doesn't happen any longer. I wish I would have done it 5 years ago when I put the fence and the gate in.
Review: Door stops - They worked great. Could have used longer ones but I didn’t measure. Very easy to install.

## Features

- 【STURDY AND DURABLE】 Made of thick gauge black steel and won’t break or buckle. With black powder coated, anti-rust, and with excellent corrosion resistance. This wood fence gate rod can last for long life outdoors, with stand bad weather. Widely used on wooden fence gates, metal gates, iron gates, vinyl gate or double gates, doors, etc.
- 【HEAVY DUTY】 Designed for using on heavy gates, fences, and doors. The gate drop rod is thicker than similar cane bolts on the market. 18" length rod is able to stick deeper and more secure ground penetration to hold a heavy gate solidly in place.
- 【KEEP GATES SECURE】 Keep your gates stable. Our canes bolts are designed to secure your single or double doors, gates, and fences in the open or closed position. Protect your gate from moving around in the wind and the hazards that movement can present.
- 【CONVENIENT USE】 Just turn the rod manually to slide down through the holes of the brackets and insert it into the ground, to keep your gate or fence in a stable position. When not in use, place bolt on the bolt retainer.
- 【EASY INSTALL】 Provide 6 pcs self-drill screws（the screws are not suitable for wooden gate）. Just need to drill 6 holes, then fix the 2 pcs brackets and bolt retainer to solid hold in the wooden or metal post.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is the drop rod solid steel?**
A: Yes, it is. Solid hunk of metal.

**Q: How does it work in dirt?**
A: It won't...what I did was get a piece of steel pipe. I marked where the bolt needed to be to close gate...then I hammered the piece of pipe into the dirt to create a strong sleeve for the bolt to lock into...

**Q: Will this work on a round pipe (chain link gate)?**
A: I would not recommend, mounting brackets ore designed for flat surface.

**Q: Can this install on Vinyl gate to temorparity hold it open?**
A: Yes!! I have a vinyl gate and it works perfect! Even in windy conditions.
