Premium Quality at a Budget Price
As I've recently been upgrading my desk space to accommodate both work from home needs as well as personal fun, I was in the need of a new laptop stand that would allow me to elevate my laptop's monitor to align better with my 50" Monitor and 24" vertically mounted 2nd monitor. As I was not planning to utilize the laptops keyboard/mouse when connected to these displays I wasn't interested in a stand that elevated the entire laptop whole also allowing for me to type, instead I was looking for a solution which would allow me to open the laptop fully and place the screen within my line of vision while also having the smallest desk footprint as possible. Enter the Arae Laptop stand. Made from what appears to be high quality aluminum, I was surprised to see just how compact this stand is when fully broken down. Arriving in a felt bag inside the manufacturer's box, the stand in total looks similar to a bamboo Chinese decorative fan fresh out of the box. Upon extending the base components and identifying how exactly the stand is meant to sit took a few moments as no instructions were included in the box, and my first inclination was that the 4 rubber feet pads were meant to protect the desk it was placed upon. Once I realized that these were instead meant to securely hold the laptop in place the rest of setup was breeze. Extending the back support and flipping out the 2 legs allowed me to select any of several different positions which adjusted the total height of the unite in approximately 1 inch increments. With the stand fully unfolded and positioned on my desk I placed my 15 inch Dell laptop and it immediately settled into place and instantly looked right at home on my newly arranged desk environment. I can't speak to the long term quality of repetitive folding/unfolding, however this unit feels like it is a quality component that should last for years to come. The compact nature and small carrying case allows this to easily be thrown in a bag, purse, or case with little worry. This was all around a fantastic purchase for me and one I would highly recommend for others provided that typing on the laptop itself or using the laptops touchpad is something you were wanting to do.

Simple, effective, & good quality
I wasn't sure if this was going to be decent quality, given how inexpensive it was. While I only received it today, I can tell that the quality is good. The soft, grip pads work well and there is no wabble at all, even while typing. I'll mostly be using a full-sized keyboard, but it's nice that I can use that laptop keyboard while it's on it's stand. This stand has just enough lift for my needs. It's a bonus that it's portable - that wasn't a feature I was looking for, but because it easily folds down and comes with a carrying case, I'll definitely bring it along if I'm going to be using my laptop elsewhere for any length of time. Couldn't be more pleased with this simple yet effective product!

Simple and sturdy
Super lightweight and portable, folds down to a very transportable size. As you can see- Iโm not using this for a laptop, but the music gear Iโm using it for is considerably heavier than my actual laptop, and itโs perfectly sturdy. I picked this stand specifically because I wanted something that could get very close to vertical, and this does exactly that! But itโs also capable of lying nearly flat, too. My only complaint is that itโs a little bit difficult to get the โheight adjustment polesโ into place, but itโs honestly barely even an inconvenience. All in all, very happy with it. Awesome work and great design!

Does the job but be warry of minor damage to bottoms of laptops
It definitely does it job quite well, I noticed a improvement in Temps by about 10c to 25c as I had low airflow before this, can now touch my laptop after a hour of work! It's relatively sturdy, not the most sturdy thing ever but for a foldable/portable option it is not bad at all and it being oh my desk 90% of the time on a large mat it is great. For laptop use the farthest back option seems like the only "viable" for use, any other setting and it's "unusable" but for a tablet or even book or phone it would suffice, this is just my opinion however. However this morning as I was going to class I noticed a decently sized scrape on my laptops bottom coating. I have always prided myself on keeping my tech in great condition so to see this really soured me on this otherwise great cure for my overheating woes. It seems the little metal nubs that facilitate the folding in on the bottom left side and even somewhat the bottom right side are the culprit as earlier I found a tiny bit of what looked like metal dust which likley came from my laptop, will watch further if just a one of thing or I think some extra rubber padding which is used elsewhere on this would definitely help, I'll likley DIY some extra padding if this persists. Otherwise if in market for a portable laptop stand that isn't too bulky and is metal then this would suffice

Light-weight and sturdy / stable enough.
I bought this for my wife (because she was jealous of the one that I bought for myself). It's SOOOO much better to have the laptop on a stand (and use an external keyboard & mouse) than hunching down to use the laptop keyboard. It's not rock-steady, but certainly good enough for normal use -- and it's honestly more stable than I had expected, based on the price and the design. I bought mine as an experiment, half-expecting it to be a piece of junk, but was pleasantly surprised. The compact size and light weight make up for the slight wiggliness; and as long as you don't have to move your laptop around every few minutes, it's fine. It folds up and fits easily in my computer bag, as does my keyboard; the little bag that it comes in is a very nice touch. (I also invested in the $110 Logi wireless keyboard, which is a great choice for people who spend much of every day typing emails and reports and such.)

Does the job!
The stand is lightweight and came in a little bag for travel. It raises my laptop up to where I can look straight ahead at the screen, without giving the keyboard too much angle. I tried another stand that didn't raise the laptop high enough. This one is also adjustable, so can be used on a variety of tables or desks. I gave 4 stars on Stability because it would be nice if the feet holding the near end of the laptop had more curve. So far, my laptop hasn't slipped, but it could, especially if I needed to lift higher.

Works great!
Works really great! I use it to hold my Mac. I got it to prevent it from heating up too much and to sit more comfortably. It is a little bit annoying to move around sometimes, the metal swings around and clicks a bit when getting it to the right position, but that doesnโt really mean anything for the product. It works, and I really do use this all the time. It does work for smaller devices too, although looks a little silly with my phone lol. But it does work! Itโs not really heavy, the metal is good, itโs easy to use and portable. I would recommend this :)

Overall Good but Low sturdiness
Pros: Portable, Compact and comes with small bag to carry. Has rubber grip where laptop sits and as well as at the edges. Cons: While setting the height of the stand it might be tricky sometimes, need to be more conscious while keeping laptop on it because the stand legs are quiet free, or else for sure laptop will drops down
