I was putting new doors on my shed and in the past I didn't have a way to hold the doors open so I would just use a block of wood. These are much better as they are always there and they seem to hold the doors open well even in strong winds

These things are quality ! But upon delivery it’s missing two screws for the one latch not a big deal because I used different screws, would have been 5 stars. Sure it was an accident

This is a good looking and very useful tool. They are all metal and were not cheaply made. If you really need to hold heavy weight you might want to use longer screws, but I am satisfied. Make sure to measure your needs before you buy. I bought 4 inch, when 2 inch ones would have done.

Easy to install. Latch well.

I needed to make a slight adjustment after installing since hook was a little tight in the eye. So, I took my trusty single cut mill bastard file and whaled away for a lot longer than I thought it would take. It finally occurred to me that I was dealing with a REAL tool-grade piece of steel. The manufacturer advertises it as being made of stainless steel but there are all grades and types of stainless steel out there. This tool steel is VERY tough and will not wear easily. I strongly recommend it.

One pack was missing screws, opened package. Either reshipped a return or item tampered with. Other than that good enough.
