I was in a musical transition period when I first heard this album. Yes, Right Here, Right Now was a major radio staple at the time (so was a lot of stuff that had no social significance, Rush Rush by Paula Abdul, anyone).I was really into Pop music at the time and was truly discovering how fake Pop was and this album was one of the albums that totally backed up that belief. I loved the guitars in this album as distorted as they were and they rocked one hell of a keyboard.The songs that I find timeless are as follows: Trust Me, International Bright Young Thing, Right Here Right Now, Welcome Back Victoria, Are You Satisfied? and Blissed, but the whole album carries enough weight to put itself in the catagory of one of my favorite albums of all time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm sure a lot of people (including critics) overlooked and or dismissed their work which in retrospect is a bit sad as they are *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2015* This album, as well as Liquidizer was so far ahead of its time. Combining rock, punk and pop elements to electronic sequencing and sampling was not really being done in the same way before or after the way Jesus Jones did it. I'm sure a lot of people (including critics) overlooked and or dismissed their work which in retrospect is a bit sad as they are to most, only really known for "Right Here, Right Now", which is a super hit that still holds up today. I credit Jesus Jones for influencing newer bands work that are bringing these types of hybridized blending of sounds back. For example, Awolnation, Crosses, Puscifer, Nine Inch Nails, Just to throw a couple names out there. A great band, an innovative sound and a great front man, Mike Edwards makes for a band that has a sound that will last the tests of time. Perhaps the band was too ahead of their time to get the stupid critics to give them a decent review??? Check it out for yourself! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A breakout gets a comprehensive reissue *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2015* i lived 'Liquidizer' so the pop sheen of 'Doubt' caught me off guard but I still loved it. The album's aged a smidge—it was so of its time it couldn't help but do so—but this is still a requirement for every music library.
