My 13 year old son and I go fishing a lot, and he loses lures. We wanted something we could have in the car with us to retrieve lures that get hung up in the reeds. I figured that for the cost we could give this one a try. We got it and inflated it on the living room floor. The pump was ok, it would have done the job, but we have a rechargable electric pump (highly recommended) that filled all three chambers within 5 minutes and deflated it just as quickly. The Boston valve is great, it helps a lot. Off to the lake we went. The kids had no idea how to row, but with trial and error, they figured it out! Rescued two lures from an earlier fishing trip, and they just had fun. It was stable in the water, and big enough for them both, 16 year old girl and 13 year old boy. We made each ofthem jump out and then climb back in to make sure they could, and it stayed upright and they were able to climb back in from the water. As a parent, I like that it was stable enough for them to be able to safely get back in. My comments or suggestions are few, buy a portable pump, you won't regret it; this is not a toy, make sure you have a life vests for each person in it; and check the oars every so often, we noticed that they came unscrewed after a while during use! Overall we're really happy with the purchase!
