A: I used them to convert a handbag and it weighs like 5 lbs so I dont no beyond that

**Q: can I use with a Raffia Straw Bag?**
A: I believe the weave would be too open if it is only raffia. If the bag is lined and better interlined/supported under the handles alone I believe it would work beautifully.

**Q: risk of canvas ripping or fraying if this is done to a Celine Boston bag?**
A: Sure, I don’t see why you couldn’t.

**Q: I would like to purchase this to convert my cosmetic bag to a crossbody. Will I need to punch a large hole? Will this ruin the bag?**
A: I only had to punch a very small hole. I also converted two small cosmetic bags and didnt ruin them.
