## Questions & Answers

**Q: do you have a rotary on off switch that will work with 3 120 halogen 75 watts each bulbs? I tried a dimmer that burned out quickly.**
A: If you don't know how to determine amp requirements for a device you want to switch off and on, or dim, you might be better off using an electrician. That's why your dimmer burned out.

**Q: what is the width of the knob? is there a larger knob that would fit on this switch?**
A: It is 1/4 inch in diameter. Mine is installed and if rotated counter-clockwise the knob does not unscrew, don't know if you can when it hasn't been installed.

**Q: Switch in picture show it to be 28v dc. is it really 125v?**
A: I didn't notice the 28VDC legend on the switch I used, but the switch is 125V AC. I checked the Gardner Bender website and it says the GSW-61 is a 125V AC switch.

**Q: is this an On/Off or a Dimmer?**
A: On/off switch. No dimmer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for a vintage restoration
*by B***S on December 3, 2022*

I am restoring an old vintage fan and the original switch was still operational but had been twisted and needed repacement. Finding something that looked close was, what I thought, would be a tough job. This looked so close but upon arrival I could easily see that it was an exact duplicate of that original. It was an easy install as it even had the same original wire strips to make the fit easy. It operates as origianl. Just turn the button to turn the fan on and then off. It has a noticable click indicating that it is a tight build. Does not heat up showing that the contact inside was making a good connection. Best of all, it was priced so very affordably. Very happy with this one.
