Marcato Atlas Pasta Machine is truly the best thing if you love making pasta right from scratch. Rolling the dough through it a few times gets a smooth finish and the setting for having different thickness helps a lot when the mood shifts from ravioli to fettuccine or spaghetti.

Fantastische pastamachine. Had eerst een goedkopere variant. Maar die kan absoluut niet tippen aan deze. Het pastadeeg gaat er makkelijk en soepel doorheen en snijdt de pasta moeiteloos in de gewenste vormen. Wil je zelf pasta maken, dan raad ik de Marcato Atlas zeker aan.

i ordered the atlas 150 .A ampia 150 was delivered and is a Chinese knock off .no marcato label on the machine . box says made in china ..badly made.

To the polymer clay artists who are looking at buying this machine for clay - this gets the job done, and done well! I took a gamble on whether or not Amazon carried the newer or older models of this pasta machine. Wonderfully, the machine I received was a newer model, so the blades ARE removable for cleaning and the handle is deeper/longer so it isn't as likely to fall out when in use. The blade removable can be a bit fiddly, but there's a good tutorial on YouTube to guide you. Some oil/grease marks in the box may be present from what I assume from manufacturing. Metal of machine was pristine and machine has quite a weight to it and comes with a clamp as well. Instructional guide is provided, showing thickness for each notch on the dial.
