**Q: Would these be good for hot and humid weather?**
A: Yes, these are really comfortable pants, and should be great in hot and humid weather while providing protection. They are quick-dry, so if you get them wet, they dry really fast.  I've wore them on hikes, and even to amusement parks in Orlando during hot summer.

**Q: Are they waterproof?**
A: Rain beads up on the surface so know they are water resistant. Have never been out in rain for long enough to know if they are truly waterproof.

**Q: Is the color 'fossil' a light gray or more beige/tan with these pants? Or is 'tusk' more a gray tone than 'fossil'?**
A: The fossil is more of a bone and the tusk (my fave) is very much like brittish khaki

**Q: Do the black get hot in the sun?**
A: I notice very little different from the other dark colors.
