Look carefully at the receptacles both on the compute an the printerr, (COMPUTER END is the rectangular and flat male end of the cable in the picture), It slides into the port on the computer labeled SS-"trident". The other end of the cable is SQUARE and male. It's harder to get into the printer....but it will go in at the correct orientation....again LOOK FIRST at both receptacles ! Dr. Mike '
