**Q: to what % and proof does this hydrometer register**
A: The scale on the hydrometer reads from 0 to 100% of alcohol by volume and 0-200 percent Proof of Spirit.  The hydrometer is for distilled alcohol only.  It cannot be used for beer, wine or any other fermented beverage according to the label.  There is also a temperature correction chart for temperatures reading below and above 60 degrees F.

**Q: Would a 250ml graduated cylinder be large enough for this hydrometer?**
A: The volume isn't as important as the height. If it's about 11 inches tall,you're good to go. Just bear in mind that the higher the proof, the deeper it sinks. The cylinder I use is only 100ml.Hope this is clear.

**Q: Will this proof whiskey? Or just wine and beer?**
A: By the way Becky it is not used in proofing wine or beer.

**Q: Can anyone tell me the dimensions? diameter of the bulb and overall length? thanks**
A: It is the same size as the triple scale hydrometer. I would say 13 in tall bell is about the size of a nickel or dime.
