My wife loved it so it was a win for me ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great color tone and sharpness, touch sensitivity is OEM-like *by A***R on April 30, 2021* This is a fantastic LCD digitizer and touchscreen repair kit. The quality is excellent for LCD, and the price was very reasonable. The color and sharpness are 95% as good as the OLED OEM screen, I can barely tell them apart (see screenshot). Also, unlike other kits for the iPhone X I have used, this one has excellent touch sensitivity and haptic feedback. From edge-to edge and top to bottom there are no dead or glitchy sections. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend this kit. It includes all tools (penta-lobe and Y000 screwdrivers, new adhesive seal, etc.) and arrived well-packaged. For your repair I suggest the videos and guide on ifixit.com Be SURE you carefully transfer the speaker and LIDAR/front camera assembly to the new LCD ensure Face ID will continue to work. NOTE that if you damaged your Face ID/LIDAR components when the screen broke you cannot replace that part, as it is tied to the iPhone's unique hardware ID. Failing after a few days. *by C***S on August 1, 2021* The installation went fine, though the included tools were of fairly poor quality (I didn’t expect anything great). They did not engage well in the tiny fasteners inside the phone. The screen itself does not have the color vibrance or the contrast of the original screen. Also, viewing angles seem somewhat narrower. The result, when I fired up my phone, was a mix of happiness the phone came back on w/o issue but a letdown on the fact the screen quality was noticeably degraded.I just replaced the screen in my IPhone X which had cracked about a year ago in conjunction with a battery replacement to extend it’s life another year or two. It’s now 4 years old and had been sent in for refurb under warranty before it expired. I think I got what I paid for between this screen and it’s battery, given the comparatively low price point so long as it last awhile. If you’re looking for something that works on the cheap… this should do fine. If you’re expecting an OEM-quality display at a fraction of the price, I’d keep searching.Edit: Less than a week after installation, the screen has started noticeably flickering.
