It's very easy to work with. **Q: Is this considered a gel stain or regular stain?** A: It's not a gel stain but the consistency is thicker than a regular stain. **Q: Looking to paint hollow doors- Do I need a wood conditioner first? Or will this cover well in 1 coat?** A: This is not a paint, but rather a stain. If you're looking to cover up defects or anything along those lines this will not work.
