Product description How Do You Sit In Your Chair? Did you know the average person sits more than 9 hours per day? We sit in the car, at the office, and when we get home, we relax with more sitting. When we sit and reach forward to our steering wheel, slouch at our desk, our slump into the couch, we create new posture that leads to misalignment which can cause pain and injury. Common poor posture problems include headaches, shoulder and neck tension, rotator cuff problems, and back pain. Posture PT was designed to correct poor sitting habits and create great posture. Look Confident, feel better with your Posture Personal Trainer! Why We Care Our founder, Brendan, is a Corrective Exercise Specialist with 10+ years of experience. He noticed a common theme while treating his patients. The majority of them had problems that could easily be prevented if they had proper posture. In just a few months of using Brendan's corrective posture techniques, Brendan's patients saw remarkable results. These techniques ultimately align proper posture which creates the conditions for the body to heal itself. One patient named Liz was even able to avoid surgery on her torn rotator cuff because she was fully healed after 3 months of working with Brendan. This is not a unique story. People who have tension headaches, tension in their shoulders, or pain in their back usually have less than ideal posture. It became clear that proper posture and alignment was the key to injury prevention and injury healing, but Brendan was limited to that amount of people he could work with. Information about improving posture needed to reach more people! How The Posture PT Helps You Posture PT was created to solve this problem. Posture PT fixes the problem of poor posture right where it is created: in your chair. Posture PT offers a simple solution to the reoccurring problems Brendan experienced daily by teaching corrective posture techniques in a product that anyone can use. The unique design of Posture PT is the only full back support specifically designed to guide your shoulders back while sitting, creating great posture with no effort. Convenient To Use Anywhere Drive to work with Perfect Posture. Enjoy the Posture PT While Watching TV. Never slouch while working on your computer again. Review: Godsend for thoracic kyphosis - This is a Godsend for me. I need lumbar support, but I also need something that helps my shoulders open up. This simple, but we'll made device solves both. The first day I used it, my middle back muscles were sore in a way they never have been before. That, to me, means it's working!!!! I will cart this everywhere to keep my back supported. Won't live without it. Review: Four Stars - expensive for what it is.

Amazing
Absolutely amazing. I have posture issues that I've spent a lot on. PT, strength exercises, yoga, clavicle support braces, and more. I've only used this item for three days, mostly during long drives where my posture is at its worst and this has changed everything. Yes, you will be sore but in the best way, your weak areas will engage and have long lasting corrective effects. I will be ordering another for the office.

Overpriced foam roller.
The concept is great and does a good job getting you to sit up straight. However, $60 is just way too over priced. One could buy a foam roller cut in half for $3. I have since returned the product.

Posture Perfectly Improving!
Great idea... forces the shoulders in to proper spread position while providing full spinal support as a desk jockey... suggesting chairs are designed improperly!!!

returned it after realizing that there are a lot of other ones that are better and considerably
It's too much money for just a piece of foam... returned it after realizing that there are a lot of other ones that are better and considerably cheaper

It's OK, probably helpful, but I find it frustrating.
This product has it's positives and negatives. I am a dentist/dental surgeon, concerned about my posture. I'm also an athlete and do a lot to keep my body/back/neck etc. strong and balanced. I purchased this hoping it would, as the website for the product says, help activate back accessory muscles, help me open my chest and avoid hunching. I emailed one of the inventors (their website encourages you to) and told him I was thinking of using it while working on patients. He said he just had contact with another dental professional, who was using it for that and liked it. OK...so...here's the positives and negatives (in my opinion). By the way. I purchased two of these. Pros: when you sit back against this (it is basically like a foam roller, cut lengthwise, and it's centered correctly, it's cool. You can feel your back kind of expand around it, it definitely opens the chest, and I think the design is good. It's comfortable. I like it in my car, especially for longer drives. It is of a slightly squishy but firm rubber material, and I think its' good quality, definitely durable. They had the right idea including a strap for it to help secure it to a seat. Cons/negatives: the strap thing is, well, it's an idea that they didn't think out too well. The Posture PT basically tips or slides side to side, or falls forward, virtually every single time I get up, or sit down, even if I am careful how I sit. I have to adjust it every single time. If I am doing errands in the car, driving short distances, it's a friggin' pain. So far as securing it to my dental operator chair (essentially a stool with a backrest about 8-12 " above the seat), it was a joke. Even though I tightened the strap as much as I could, fiddled with the strap in various adaptions to the chair, the Posture PT fell forward, fell on the floor, fell sideways....every time I moved. So that one is now on my chair, in my office. And while it stays upright most of the time it slides to one side or the other...again requiring adjustment every time I sit. I am using it--I think it does help me be more aware of my posture and keeps me from hunching. But with things I do, I can't afford to, for instance, do a surgery and not bother suturing things so they are secure and the patient is assured things are going to stay in place. I kind of "get" that the inventors had/have a good idea--but they didn't bother following through for actually using the device in practice.

it didn't and it disappointed me since I keep trying things and they don't ...
this item hurt my back even more, I thought it will be helpful at least to decrease the backpain while I am working on my computer; however, it didn't and it disappointed me since I keep trying things and they don't work
