These are water-based paints that are non-toxic and non-flammable and come in a 17ml pipette bottle that prevents spills. The model paint is suitable for all surfaces and specially formulated to adhere to plastics and polyester. The colours paint smoothly and cover large areas easily and without brush strokes. Their texture makes them equally perfect for tiny details of miniature artwork. All shades dry to a matte and opaque finish, except for the metallic and transparent colours. The transparent colours give a brilliant finish, tone the surface but do not hide wood grains or other properties. On models, they are applied directly to headlights and signal lights; diluted with Mat Medium, these colours are ideal for tinting aircraft or car windows (smoked glass). Applying a transparent layer of paint over the same mat colour results in an extra brilliant special effect. Model colour can be diluted with water, all colours can be mixed with each other. The products do not contain solvents and are non-flammable. Colours do not contain lead pigments or harmful ingredients. Errors can be remedied inmediately with water, or with a small amount of alcohol. Once the paint has dried, it is waterproof and permanent. I use it mostly for pinholes and tiny divots, for that is it is fantastic. Make sure you let it set up overnight at least. The longer it sits, the harder it gets. For large areas, though, I use Magic Sculpt. **Q: Is this sandable after it drys?** A: I don't use this for filling surfaces I intend to sand. It might work for a small seam after a really good drying, but I would use Mr. Surfacer for projects that still need sanding. **Q: Would this allow me to afix and glue a plastic face mask into the hole of a flat plastic sheet to mount into a shadow box??** A: It says plastic putty and more likely this would be seal gaps in a plastic model,I my myself would try contact cement/glue **Q: I have a small crack in one of my white floor tiles. Will the Plastic Putty work for filling it in?** A: I don't think it's the right putty for that.
