does it diminsh artificial color of your hair with continued use?

No. I've used it on my colored hair for many years with no fading.

Why do your products leave flakes in my hair ? why didnt you explain this ?

I have only noticed a little bit of flaking when I use too much in the same spot. You really need to work it into the hair, all over the hair, being careful not to apply a glob in one location. When it does have a little flaky, just add water to that spot and work it back into the surrounding hair.

I use Wella Pearl Styler because I have a sensitive scalp that breaks out easily and this is one of the few products that doesn't cause scalp breakouts. Clean and easy to apply. Tiny amount goes a long way and holds very well. Does leave a slightly wet look.
