I just started doing this and I'm not exactly sure why most of the time I get two copies and then sometimes I don't running the same program. You use the opposite number of whatever your program has so if it's programed is with T0 than you added T1 and vice versa **Q: Can anyone compare this to the FlashForge 3d Printer Creator Pro? Can you load the Sailfish firmware on it?** A: Aside from some very minor design changes, this printer is identical to the Creator pro, with the exception of 2 things. The FlashForge comes with a print bed adhesive mat that works very well with both PLA and ABS. The QiDi comes with a roll of blue tape. Second, the current FlashForge model has a board with a larger 2560 atmega chip. The chip on the QiDi is the standard smaller chip. This difference does not effect performance. It simply allows the FlashForge to store larger firmware files. I should note that there are currently no firmware files that require the larger chip. In some ways, I prefer the QiDi to the FlashForge. While the FlashForge comes with closed styrene sides, the Qidi has open sides with acrylic panels that screw in. The benefit is that if you work primarily with PLA, you can leave the acrylic panels off and have access from both sides. If you close the sides, with the panels, they still let more light in as they are clear plastic. Last, the FlashForge spool holders only work with filament spools that have a large 2-1/8" hole in them. The Qidi comes with spool holders that are only 1-1/8" in diameter and work with spools with smaller holes such as the Hatchbox filaments. Do NOT try to flash this board, you will damage it. I learned that the hard way. **Q: Does anyone know the maximum print speed on this unit? I can't find it anywhere.** A: 3D Printers will attempt to print as fast as you tell them too. However the faster you print, usually the worse the quality. Once you pass a certain speed, the circuits in the servos won't be able to keep up, and you'll have motor skipping, prints that offset and fail, and if kept up long enough, stepper motor damage. For this machine I like to use 50mm/s; I'm sure you could push 80mm/s with the right settings. I'd cap it at 120mm/s, and even at that speed I doubt you'll get much a print, just some messy extruded plastic. **Q: Does this really take 3-5 months to ship?** A: Hi John O.
