I sent a message to the seller and got no response after months. Another was just perfect, no issues. This one has a hole in the bottom. It looks like maybe intentional, or part of the manufacturing process. Upon inspection of the others, they both have the mark, but are filled. It makes me wonder which is the correct condition by design. Either way, if used according to instruction (don't fill too high) they work reasonably well. They still get fairly hot after a couple of minutes, but not as bad as a normal cup. The experience of using them is well worth the money, regardless of anything else.
