But, if you compare one to another, I'm guessing there isn't much difference between them. They both use pulse induction, other than color they both have the same design, and they're both priced about the same. I guess it's up to you as to what brand you're into. I'm very happy with the Technetics Tek-Point. I also like the solid construction and the comfortable feel in my hand. It even comes with a well-made belt holster. Plus, no more 9-volt batteries! It takes 2 AA's and that works for me, since I have a plenty of rechargeables I can use. It performs extremely well in the field and can identify targets with ease.
