Rubbed them with a blue Scotch-Brite pad after applying On and Off and the cake right off! You’re not supposed to use it I’m metal but I tried it on the rust stains on my stainless steel trim tabs and they cleaned right up! I made sure that my aluminum trailer was well protected with a plastic sheet. It does burn a bit if it gets on your bare skin (need longer gloves) but wash it off and it’s no big deal. I just don’t know how it clean under the bunks. Applied this to a small patch on the transom to see how it works and you could immediately see it working with the brush strokes.
