Not because they are faulty, but because the blades are awesome as well as I have used and allowed others to use my other knifes. I highly recommend these knifes. I absolutely love this knife set. I work in a warehouse/assembly line facility. They do not provide us with personal utility knifes. This was my second set purchased. Not because the first set was faulty, but because I've been able to help other co workers out by temporarily loaning them knifes. These knifes are just the right size for my hand. They are just the right weight too. The blades that come with the set seem to last longer than the brand that my employer does offer as well. They're easy to open and fold back up. I believe they're absolutely functional for any setting. This is my second set and I will continue to come back to this brand.
