However, it doesn't have the least bit rubbery texture. It has a very chalky matte finish no matter what you do to it.

A: It will turn steel black. It sounds to me like your expectation is that this paint will reduce temperatures or something? That is not the case. It is simply paint that can withstand high temperatures.
