**Q: Can I use this even if my name isn't Jimmy?**
A: Yes okay but you might be subpoenaed under the name Jimmy and that is nearly impossible to adjudicate or expunge later depending on the state so be forewarned.

**Q: Would it work for opening Pistachio nuts?**
A: For the totally closed nuts use " Channellock 424 4.5-Inch Straight Jaw Tongue and Groove Pliers | Pocket Size Plier " if you have elderly teeth like mine and can no longer just bit them.

**Q: Will it work on opening kindle fire tablets?**
A: The tool is designed to allow you to separate the 2 parts of electronic devices to allow you to gain access.  Go to the IFIXIT website and search for your model kindle to see the process to opening the device properly.  They are indispensable with the information on their website for various electronic devices and how to complete repairs and estimating how skilled you should be to have the best chance of success.  It's why I try to buy their products (because they are designed specifically for these tasks.)

**Q: Is this iFixit's answer to the iSeasamo (i.e. do they expect it to be a viable replacement)?**
A: I have not used that tool, but use the iFixit tool every day to pop open the bottom covers on laptops. This tool's blade is very thin to fit easily in between the chassis and the cover.

L’iFixit Jimmy est un petit outil indispensable pour bricoler l’électronique ; il permet notamment de remplacer facilement écrans et coques de smartphones, ou de déclipser le capot d’une montre. La lame ressemble à un couteau, mais elle est en plastique donc on ne peut pas se blesser. Très fine, elle se glisse dans la tranche du smartphone, et permet de désolidariser facilement l’écran de la coque, en exerçant une rotation du poignet. La lame est par ailleurs solide car elle fait corps avec le manche. Ce dernier est un peu petit pour ma main, mais j’arrive à manier l’outil sans difficultés. J’ai acheté l’iFixit Jimmy après avoir cassé la coque de mon Motorola G6. J’ai pu déclipser facilement la partie cassée du smartphone ; en revanche, les résidus de colle m’ont posé problème et j’ai passé du temps à les retirer. Le Jimmy m’a également servi à démonter ma montre connectée Samsung Gear S3 « Classic ». Je possède par ailleurs un tournevis Tri wing Y00, autre outil indispensable pour démonter le matériel électronique. Points positifs : + Lame fine et solide + Pratique + Abordable Points négatifs : - 100% plastique - Manche un peu court En conclusion, l’iFixit Jimmy est un outil pratique et utile ; il fait partie de ma panoplie de bricoleur et je m’en sers pour les travaux de précision.
