Can this connect to to a raspberry pi?

Yes, using mavlink it can certainly communicate with a Raspberry Pi over a serial connection.

does take the full pixhawk firmware or only the 1 MB version?

It is 2MB version. and can flash firmware in mission planner.

I have multiple pc' running windows 10 and cannot see this connect on either of them. Any ideas?

No 16gb sd. Got only a 4gb

I have not tested it yet. I just noticed that the sd is only a 4gb and not the 16gb that is on the description not very fond of false advertisement..

Worst purchase

Please dont buy this product,this is cheap Chinese product with is available for 2.2k on aliexpress, It is not like description on the app. Got 8gb sdcard -mentioned was 16gb 12c splitter is not present in the packet The cheap build quality can be clearly seen No 3dr logo or any genuine quality assurance mark present You can buy original pixhawk from 3dr robotics at the same cost that also including gps Amazon was best at its service

Be prepared to spend time going through all the different features of his board to program it

Very cool board with a lot of different programming options but a pain in the rear end of program I am still unable to get mine off the ground when I go to disengage the button for the safety it will not allow me to go to flight mode still unable to get off the ground would recommend easier board

sd card pops out

Never got it to work. The sd card won't stay in. It was in when I got it but it pops out now. I found it on the table when I was wondering why it wouldn't connect. This has stopped being fun.

Do not buy!!

I received the product & some of packaging were already open and the pixhawk was not working!! When I diagnosed it I found it's IO procesor was faulty. Please Do not buy from here.
