'Her Fabulous Debut' IS all that; well produced, great arrangements and lots of smiles. Unlike many comedic songsters Carla's music stands up to the best of the "serious" players and lyricists. Great guitar chops? Check. Witty lyrics? Check. Waiter- check. Oops, I'll leave the smart aleck remarks to the professional, one Carla Ulbrich - and you should too. A new fave in my collection. This one is well worth the money, and if you can find the second one, it is the next best thing to being there. Carla recently had to endure some very unpleasent circumstances, and she is one of the few people I know who could write a hilarious song about the most devastating experience. It's not on a CD (yet) but just an example of the talent this lady possesses. There's more here than meets the ear, as well. A number of the songs have an uncanny way of looking at the world that gets you thinking.
