The blade sliced straight through the cap, through my finger, and hit bone before I even realized what happened. So let that be your warning. These things are insanely sharp. That said, the cutting performance is incredible because of it. The difference compared to cheaper lino cutters was immediately noticeable. Cutting traditional linoleum feels dramatically smoother and more controlled now. It almost feels closer to carving those softer easy-carve/rubber style blocks than actual linoleum. The cleaner cuts have noticeably improved the quality of my prints and made detailed carving much easier. The way the handle fits in my hand feels very natural and my hand doesnt feel exhausted or cramped after long sessions. While the cost is high, I do see these as something I'll have for a very very long time. If you’re getting into relief printing or linocut seriously, these feel like real tools instead of hobby store compromises.
