Micro Connectors Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO 1 to 2 Expansion Board (RAS-GP02),Green

I have a pair of Raspberry Pi 4Bs that are essentially "towers" of SATA boards, USB hub boards, power boards, mult-function boards, GPIO pin replicator boards, and other "hats", all separated and stacked with M2.5 stand-offs. This creates a "tower" several inches tall... tall enough that rather than having to stand up to then look down upon and read a GPIO-mounted OLED display, I wanted to just look at the stacks and be able to see what the displays were telling me. I ordered 2 of these 40-pin right-angle GPIO expanders and could not be more delighted. My OLED displays mount directly to these without issue, they don't move once installed, I retain top-mounted GPIO pins for future add-ons, and the displays I mounted on them are perfectly readable from a seated position in my chair. These are great little additions fo anyone who makes use of the 40-pin GPIO header on their Raspberry Pi.

The item I received was defective. To return I have to pay postage, which is almost as much. A lot of hassle for not a lot. That is after it has affected my labs with bad results.

this is something I wanted for the Sense HAT for the raspberry pi so it would be on the side of the Pi instead right on top over the CPU and RAM. It works perfectly and the temperature isn't hotter because of it sitting right on top either, I get more accurate readings this way. I have found that everything works on it too. I have not added anything else to it to see if I can use the other leads on the top but this works exactly as I hoped.

This product allows you to connect your GPIO extension board out of the side of the raspberry pi case and still have GPIO pins at the top of the case. Brilliant idea.
